Electro Sense is a company dedicated to helping the environment by encouraging South Africans to reduce their carbon footprint through a reduction in energy consumption, we are proud to announce our corporate sponsorship of the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT).
Electro Sense will be installing, in the Johannesburg office of the EWT, the innovative Electro Sense Proactive Energy Management System™. Designed to reduce energy consumption by controlling the use of lighting, the system will detect the presence of people in the EWT office building, switching lights on in only those spaces where people are present. Just by switching lights off when they are not required will allow the EWT to save funds that can be redirected to more worthy causes.
“Electro Sense is committed to helping South Africa conserve energy and prolong its energy supplies making the most of the limited supply of power available, which can only benefit the environment”, says Ken Cram, Director of Electro Sense, “Electricity production has a large effect on the environment, particularly in South Africa where we use large amounts of coal and water to create steam to power generators.” continued Cram.
“We are thrilled to have Electro Sense on board and for them to be able to sponsor the lighting project as part of their commitment to the EWT” says Leighanne Imbert, PR and Marketing coordinator for the Endangered Wildlife Trust. “We look forward to building our relationship with Electro Sense in the future.” It makes sense to partner with the Endangered Wildlife Trust as it truly is a worthy cause; we have taken advantage of our planet for far too long, and it is an honour to support an organization that is working to protect the environment” says Emmett Green, Director of Electro Sense.
