Why don’t all my lights don’t come on when I walk into the office?
- Answer 1: If you have a switch on the wall, make sure it is turned on.
- Answer 2: Check to see if other areas are also off – the circuit breaker may be down.
Why do only some of my lights come on when I walk into the office?
- Answer 1: Get your maintenance staff to check and replace faulty tubes or globes.
- Answer 2: Get your maintenance staff to check that each light fitting is plugged in the sensor adapter in the ceiling (if applicable)
Why are my lights not going off?
- Answer 1: Check to see if you have a sensor in the room.
- Answer 2: If you have a sensor that is positioned in such a way that it can see through the door, it may be picking people walking past the room. The sensor will either need to be shrouded or repositioned.
- Answer 3: If you have a sensor that uses “Microphonics” which means it also listens for sounds in the environment, it may be picking up noises from outside the room and keeping the lights on. Either the sound sensitivity settings can be reduced or the sensor may need to be changed.
Why are my lights going off while I’m there?
- Answer 1: The time delay setting may need to be increased.
- Answer 2: The sensor may be obstructed and needs to be repositioned
Why do only some of my lights switch off with the sensor?
- Answer 1: Ask your maintenance team to check that the light fitting is plugged into the sensor adapter in the ceiling.
- Answer 2: Ask your facilities manager if the lights were left off the sensor solution for some reason, (They may be on an emergency circuit).
